Melody Pangan
A Sense of Hope

“I first visited the Philippines when I was sixteen and was completely culture shocked by the poverty and destitution. It was painful seeing so much poverty and thinking there was nothing I can do to help. The BCP trip changed this feeling of helplessness by offering the opportunity to create better lives for these poor families by building houses in a new, clean community. It instilled a sense of hope and pride in me that was made possible through Enspire Foundation.”

BCP Ambassador 2009

Resonance is a celebration of life, of hope, of the spirit of giving. It is about people coming together for a common goal: to provide others with the means to realize their potential and live life to the fullest. Amidst the beautiful music showcased in this festival, Enspire Foundation seeks to inspire individuals to reach within, and reach out.
The Resonance Choir Festival was Enspire Foundation’s signature awareness and fundraising event held annually in Vancouver, BC each winter from 2002 to 2006 and in 2009. The festival provided an environment wherein amateur choirs and singing groups from all over the Lower Mainland can hone their talents and share a common goal to build communities locally and globally. The festival also featured a clinic conducted by renowned choir directors Tony Araujo and Mavis Weston. To find out more about past festivals, see below.
